- Australia's next Olympians could be identified through UC program
The University of Canberra has, in collaboration with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), become a testing centre that will help fast-track talented athletes from around Australia into selected Olympic Games and World Championship sports. - UC planning course welcomed by the ACT Minister for Planning
The University of Canberra's new Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning will give graduates the skills to balance social, environmental and economic issues as Australia plans its future development. Barbara Harvie has been awarded the honour of Nurse of the Year at the ACT Nursing and Midwifery Awards and was also named as an Operation Angel during Kidney Health Week 2008.
