Eastbourne School of English is a non-profit-making educational trust offering English language courses to adults. With a strong commitment to high English teaching standards and excellent student services, this English language school was established in 1936. It is located in Eastbourne town centre, close to the elegant seafront. Facilities in our modernised Victorian buildings include a spacious student lounge, multimedia learning centre, lively café, free wi-fi internet access and beautiful gardens. All host families live within walking distance of the school.

The perfect location for English language courses, Eastbourne is a delightful seaside town just 90 km south of London on the sunny South Coast of England. The famous white cliffs and unspoilt South Downs countryside are close by. The town has excellent shopping, beautiful parks, three theatres, a new art gallery, and a spectacular five-kilometre seafront.
The school
The school offers English language courses of all kinds: General English and examination courses for adults all year-round as well as summer vacation courses, Fifty Plus courses, Study Year programme, university preparation, English plus Golf or Tennis and Teacher Training courses for overseas teachers of English. Our English Intensive programme includes 15 General English lessons and 8 Special Focus lessons (Work English, Study English and Life English) every week. We also offer examination preparation and students can sit exams in Eastbourne for IELTS, PET, FCE, CAE and BEC.
