Welcome to the Lincoln High School website!

Lincoln High School is a modern, multi-course, co-educational High School.
For fifty years it has served a large number of communities on the southern and western borders of Christchurch.

The school is able to offer all the advantages of a city high school in a pleasant and spacious rural environment.

Excellent facilities are available for a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.
Courses and activities offered to students are constantly being revised and updated.

We pride ourselves on the very wide range of courses we offer, many of which are directly linked to courses in tertiary institutions. Individual counselling is provided for each student, to ensure that appropriate courses are selected.

Lincoln Township Panorama - free download!

This dramatic panorama of Lincoln was taken from the helicopter just after the main "LINCOLN" photo was taken - in fact the students and staff can be seen at the bottom left. Click on the image to view a high resolution version of the image, clear enough to find your house! Be aware that this is a large file - 5.3MB.

The photo is made up of eight overlapping images joined using the free program Autostitch.

Lincoln High School has joined the “million tree campaign”! www.tfsnz.org.nz

Lincoln High School in conjunction with the Lincoln Envirotown Trust and the Lincoln Community will be planting over 1400 trees in the Mahoe Reserve revegetation project originally started by a year 9 Lincoln High School class. The aim is to recreate native forest vegetation that used to exist in the area about 1000 years ago.
