Singapore is a country constantly and actively promoting billingual education. Every child is provided with the opportunity to study English and absorb Chinese culture in an education system that has established a world-wide link. Though the cost for education in Singapore is low, the standard is undoubtedly high. Mothers of students in the age group of 6 to 16 are permitted to stay with their children.
